What is coaching?
If you feel stuck despite your best efforts and prayers. Coaching is your solution-focused partnership for these current struggles. It's goal-oriented and collaborative, where you bring your lived experiences, and I offer compassionate, biblically informed wisdom and therapeutic interventions. It's an active process requiring your commitment, drawing out what God has already placed in you (Proverbs 20:5). Think of it as mentoring through His lens: imparting what He's given me while unlocking your potential for healing and growth.
What type of coaching do you provide?
I specialize in Christian mental health and relationship coaching tailored to your specific needs, whether you are navigating marriage challenges, trauma recovery, or boundary-setting amid busy lives. My approach integrates Scripture with proven techniques from cognitive-behavioral, emotion-focused, and solution-oriented modalities. It is forward-focused to help you honor God in your relationships and reclaim the joy He intends. What are your hours?
In-person appointments are available for those in and around Plano, TX, offering a safe space to unpack your marital or personal burdens face-to-face at Therapy Space Suites, 1820 Preston Park Blvd., Ste. 2200. Online sessions via our secure Simple Practice platform provide flexibility for your demanding schedule. Wherever we meet, it's a judgment-free zone grounded in Christ's love.
What are your fees?
To fit your busy lifestyle, in-person sessions are available Mondays and Thursdays from 10:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. CST. Online options are Tuesdays & Wednesdays from 3:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m., and Fridays from 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. CST. Let's find a time that works for you to begin your journey toward relational peace.
Individual sessions are $150 in-person or $135 online (60 minutes), with couples at $265 in-person or $238.50 online (90 minutes). These investments in your well-being and your marriage are steps toward the freedom and wholeness God promises, worth every effort as you rise above current pains.
Do you accept insurance?
Since coaching uses a wellness model (not medical diagnosis), insurance doesn't cover it, but many HSA or Medishare plans do reimburse for life coaching. Verify with your provider; we accept major cards to make starting easy.

Return/Refund Policy
At Called2Rise LLC, we are committed to providing high-quality mental health coaching services and downloadable resources designed to support your well-being. We appreciate your trust in our offerings and strive to ensure your satisfaction. However, due to the nature of our products and services, we maintain a strict no-refund policy as outlined below. This policy is intended to be fair, transparent, and compliant with applicable consumer protection laws. 1. All Sales Are Final Digital Downloads (e.g., Books, Guides, and Other Products): Once a digital product is purchased and downloaded, it cannot be returned or refunded. This is because digital files are instantly accessible and replicable, making it impossible to verify or revoke access after delivery. Coaching Services: Mental health coaching sessions, programs, or consultations are non-refundable once they have been scheduled, initiated, or completed. Services are personalized and delivered in real-time or through dedicated resources, and cannot be undone or returned. We encourage you to review product descriptions, sample materials (where available), and service details carefully before making a purchase to ensure they meet your needs. 2. Exceptions and Special Considerations While our policy does not allow for refunds, we may, at our sole discretion, offer alternatives such as credits toward future purchases or adjustments for technical issues (e.g., download errors) on a case-by-case basis. Cancellations For coaching services, cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance of the scheduled session to avoid full charges. Late cancellations or no-shows are non-refundable. Digital downloads cannot be canceled once the purchase is complete and access is granted. 4. About Called2Rise LLC
The story of Called2Rise LLC begins in 1993, when Angela W. Startz first dreamed helping individuals heal from emotional wounds and relational strife. Inspired by her own faith journey and a calling to integrate biblical wisdom with practical support, Angela envisioned a space where God's love could transform lives. However, life intervened—family responsibilities, career demands, and personal challenges delayed her pursuit for nearly three decades. Undeterred, Angela turned to formal education to build her foundation. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Christian Counseling from Liberty University, followed by a Master of Arts in Human Services Counseling and Life Coaching, graduating in 2021. During this time, she amassed over 25 certifications in trauma recovery, attachment healing, addiction impacts, and marital restoration. She also became a professional member of Gottman Connect, and successfully blends their empirically tested therapeutic models with Scripture. In 2020, with unwavering support from family, friends, and a network of supporters who believed in her vision, Called2Rise LLC came to fruition! As founder and managing member, Angela launched the company in Plano, Texas, offering Christian mental health and relationship coaching worldwide. Services focus on personal development, divorce support, and trauma recovery, providing online and in-office sessions to empower clients through faith-centered, solution-oriented guidance. By 2021, Angela achieved dual certifications: Certified Christian Life Coach (IBCC) and Certified Master Christian Life Coach (ICCI in 2024). The business grew steadily, earning endorsements for Angela's direct, yet compassionate and empathetic approach. By 2025, with five years in practice, Called2Rise has helped countless individuals reclaim peace, set boundaries, and thrive, fulfilling Angela's long-held dream through God's grace and community backing.
